Looking back at Prague Bike Fest 2026: 32" special and spoke balancing

This year’s weekend at the Prague Exhibition Grounds belonged to cycling, and Karbonová kola was there. In Holešovice, alongside our standard range of rims, we focused on practical demonstrations of technologies that are not commonly seen in regular workshops.

The biggest attraction at our stand was a bike with 32" rims. We wanted to show that we are not afraid of non-standard sizes, and visitors could ride this special machine directly in the test zone. We also presented our spoke-balancing machine, which precisely fine-tunes the entire wheel to minimise vibrations even at high speeds and make the ride as smooth as possible.

The foundation of our work, however, remains what we do most often: custom building carbon rims onto hubs from various brands. We mainly discussed individual requirements with visitors, reviewed different options for the final appearance and selected component combinations to suit their riding style.
