The basis of the spokes are carbon rims A29C30D20 UL – the lightest MTB rims with an internal width of 30 mm in the entire EIE range. The low 20 mm profile brings a gentle flexibility, thanks to which the wheels perfectly iron out irregularities and at the same time feel exceptionally lively during acceleration. The Ultra Light version uses premium carbon fibers and the most modern manufacturing processes, which gives the wheels an extraordinary weight-to-performance ratio.
EIE EM 285 MTB hubs with a proven ratchet system and straightpull spoke attachment ensure smooth operation. Combined with DT Swiss Competition Race spokes and Sapim Double Square Secure Lock aluminum nipples, the result is a spoke set that is strong, precise, and incredibly light.
Each set comes with tubeless tape and valves pre-attached, ready to install.

These are the lightest MTB rims in our range with an internal width of 30 mm. Thanks to the low profile height of 20 mm, this rim is slightly „flexible“ and therefore relatively durable. If you want to build top-level lightweight carbon wheels with excellent riding characteristics, this is the rim for you! However, please observe the weight limit and note the slightly lower overall durability.

DT Swiss Competition Race is a lightweight version of the proven DT Competition spokes, designed for riders looking for the ideal balance between low weight, strength and flexibility of the spoke. Thanks to the double taper (2.0–1.6–2.0 mm), these spokes are lighter than the standard Competition, but still provide high strength and long life.
