A wheel designed for riders who want to attack — not survive. The Enduro
29 Race combines the brutal durability of DH carbon rims with the instant
acceleration and precise engagement of the new DT Swiss 240 Ratchet DEG hubs.
The result is a set that responds faster than you can reach for the brakes.
The DH rims with a wide bead easily handle heavy impacts, roots and rocky descents, while the lower profile does not feel harsh and holds the track even in broken terrain. The new DEG system with an angle of only 4° gives the rider absolute control — ideal for climbing over rocks, sprinting out of tight corners and technical passages where the moment is decisive.
Sapim CX-Ray spokes give the set low weight, strength and extra stiffness, while the Secure Lock aluminum nipples maintain tension even with aggressive riding styles.
A bike for pure speed, maximum control and confidence on the most demanding enduro tracks. If you want to ride hard and attack for results, the Enduro 29 Race¹ is for you.
This rim stands out for its excellent weight-to-resistance ratio. In 2025, this rim has an innovative shape and the main improvement has been the bead, which has been expanded from 3 mm to 3.5 mm, making the rim very resistant while maintaining a low weight. Thanks to the low height of 20 mm, this rim is also a bit "flexible", which consequently contributes to its resistance.
The Downhill (DH) rims are designed for extreme conditions and demanding descents. Thanks to their maximum strength and resistance, they are able to withstand hard impacts and high speeds on rocky and technical tracks. They are the ideal choice for downhill racing and aggressive riding in rough terrain. The rims in this version have a weight limit of 135 kg.

The new DT 240s hubs with Ratchet DEG engagement are here! These at first glance more massive hubs stand out with a new engagement of two free large cogs with 90 teeth, which are pressed together from each side by a spring. This is a similar engagement as the classic Ratchet (e.g. DT 350 hubs), but the cogs and springs are of a larger diameter. The main innovation and advantage is that the Ratchet DEG system, thanks to the larger diameter of the cogs, uses a different angle of engagement teeth than the classic Ratchet or Ratchet EXP engagement. All this to provide a smaller initial engagement angle and, most importantly, maximum reliability with respect to the size of the teeth. The new full mutual locking of the DEG cogs provides, above all, a larger contact area around the entire circumference than conventional flag hubs and thus a more balanced load distribution. This results in higher reliability and service life of individual components. Two enlarged 90-tooth sprockets offer the smallest engagement angle ever produced by DT SWISS - an angle of only 4º. High engagement sensitivity with minimal crank drop guarantees instant engagement and acceleration, for example when exiting corners. But also the possibility of faster pedal position adjustment, for example when overcoming obstacles on a technical climb over rocks or large roots, when it is necessary to ease off the pedaling and then immediately start pedaling again. These rear hubs will be most appreciated by All Mountain or Enduro riders who enjoy technical climbs or technical downhill passages, when you need to react as quickly as possible and add acceleration to the pedal. Due to the higher sensitivity of the engagement, it is necessary to consider the so-called "kick pedal" effect on some bikes with high travel, when on a descent and with a large drop in the suspension, the sensitive engagement can slightly "lock" the suspension. The hubs are only available in the classic version with a flange for bent spokes of 28 or 32 holes and only in the BOOST version with a width of 148mm or 157mm. Cassettes can be installed from Shimano Microspline or SRAM XD.

Sapim CX-Ray are among the lightest and strongest steel spokes on the market, making them an ideal choice for both racing and performance bikes. Thanks to their unique profile with a flattened central section, they significantly reduce aerodynamic drag without losing strength or durability.
They are made of premium stainless steel, which ensures excellent fatigue resistance. Despite their extremely low weight, CX-Rays retain high tensile strength and torsional resistance, which contributes to the stiffness and long life of the spoke.
Thanks to their compatibility with most standard nipples and hubs, they are suitable for a wide range of applications - from road and triathlon bikes to MTB and gravel wheels. If you are looking for the best balance between weight, aerodynamics and reliability, Sapim CX-Rays are the clear choice.

Sapim Alu Double Square Secure Lock are top-of-the-line aluminum nipples designed for maximum spoke strength and stability. Thanks to their special construction with a double square profile, they allow for more precise centering and even distribution of spoke tension, which contributes to a longer wheel life.
The patented Secure Lock system prevents nipples from loosening spontaneously, which helps maintain spoke tension even under extreme loads. The low weight of the aluminum alloy contributes to the overall reduction of the wheel's weight, which will be appreciated especially by racers and performance-oriented riders.
Thanks to their precise processing and high corrosion resistance, Sapim Alu Double Square Secure Lock nipples are the ideal choice for road, gravel and MTB bikes, where the emphasis is on low weight, strength, and reliability of the spoke.
