Just like the DT 180 EXP series, these hubs have a new gear engagement, where one in the hub body is already fixed and the other is pressed against it by a spring! Thanks to this, two original components have been removed. The middle bearing has been moved further to the sides, increasing stiffness, reducing weight and extending the engagement life! Of course, there are lightweight EXP ALU rotors and the possibility of converting to other dimensions for mounting in forks and frames. DT 240s hubs are available for both classic spokes with a bent head and for spokes with a straight Straightpull head! Available in DBIS or Centerlock, only the LEFTY front forks version is available in DBIS only!
